Rich Obrero
Rich has been performing live with Kenny for almost a decade now. Having taken part of nearly every recorded project Mehler has released, Rich is an original member of the Groove Holmes band. He has toured up and down the east coast and appeared on "Out of Line" (2004 Fivewise) and Kenny's new album "Now". It was no surprise to find Obrero rounding out the line up in the new band. Originally from Ledyard, CT, Rich has been playing guitar since the age of eleven. In addition to the guitar, He studied voice in school for many years. Attending the University of Connecticut and hitting up the local music scene allowed Rich to expand his musical prowess. His influences include: Eric Clapton, the late Stevie Ray Vaughn and John Scofield to name a few.
